AAA Membership
ARTICLE 4 MEMBERSHIP
SECTION 1: MEMBERSHIP
Membership will be open to people living in the United States of America who shall identify with the mission, goals and objectives of the association. Those members moving to another state will retain membership and shall be expected to join the local chapter in their new state, if one exists. Membership may include Non-Akamba people.
ARTICLE 5
WELFARE & MEMBERSHIP FEE
SECTION 1: MEMBERSHIP FEES AND DUES
Association membership dues shall be established by vote of the membership at the annual general meeting.
• There shall be a one-time registration fee.
• There shall be an annual fee per family, per single adult and per student (high school and college), as determined in an annual general meeting is as follows; Any individual who has completed high school or attained the age of eighteen (18), whichever comes later, shall pay a one-time fee of twenty ($20) dollars. These students would not be eligible for any benefits but they would be allowed to participate in our graduation and any other achievement activities.
Annual membership dues for full membership value begin after high school years (age 18).
• Annual Dues, Renewal Date and Grace Period Guidelines are as follows; o Membership renewal enrollment for the following year shall begin on November 1 st .
• If you are a member in good financial standing (zero balance owed) with AAA on December 31st, then you shall qualify for an extended grace period through March 31 st to pay your Annual Dues but won't qualify for immediate AAA benefits until after sixty (60) days. However, if you are not in good financial standing (a past due balance is owed to AAA) on December 31 st, you must first pay the past due balance by January 31st to qualify for an extended grace period to pay your current year Annual Dues and won't qualify for immediate AAA benefits until after sixty (60) days.
• If you do not pay your past due balance and/or your current Annual Dues by March 31st, then your membership will be placed into an "INACTIVE" state and you will be required to pay any past dues owed and/or your current Annual Dues plus fifty percent (50%) of your Annual Dues ($100 for married members or $50 for single members) in order for your account to be reactivated into an "ACTIVE" state. Your AAA benefits will not start until after sixty-days (60) of your account being reactivated into an "ACTIVE" state.

ARTICLE 10
ASSOCIATION FUND & BENEFITS
SECTION 1: ELIGIBILITY
Members shall be eligible for benefits as stipulated in these Bylaws.
1) Such member meets the basic requirements set forth by AAA and its statutes.
2) Such member has paid and/or renewed their membership by January 31st, with a grace period of sixty (60) days or March 31st, whichever comes earlier. After sixty (60) days, there will a late fee assessed, determined from time to time, for any member and there after thirty (30) days to be eligible for benefits.
3) New members shall be given a grace period of thirty (30) days after joining to qualify for benefits.
4) If need be, the committee may request for proof of relationship to immediate family member involved in any loss thereof.
5) Names of relatives must be on the registration form provided by the member at the time of enrollment.
6) Family members shall be limited to Spouse, Child, Siblings and Parents. Please see
Appendix A for additional and specific criteria for eligible relatives

A. DEFINITION OF FAMILY MEMBERS
1) Spouse — member must provide evidence of marriage
2) Child — member must provide birth certificate or passport
3) Sibling — must be from the same parents as member or spouse.
4) Parents — biological parents of member or spouse
B. DEFINITION OF QUALIFYING EVENTS.
1) Death of member
2) Death of persons qualifying under APPENDIX A, sub-section (A)
C. EVENTS THAT DO NOT QUALIFY
1) Death of non-member
2) Death of in-laws (other than parents and siblings) 3) Death of step-parent

• To enhance unity of members
• To empower members to develop matters specified in Article 1 e To improve member's quality of life

• To foster unity among ourselves as a distinct community.
To develop a caring and nurturing community among ourselves. e To enhance the welfare of members.
• To promote our cultural values among members and their children.
ARTICLE 3 OBJECTIVES
SECTION 1: OBJECTIVES
The primary objectives and purposes of AAA are:
For members to enhance friendship, trust and unite in promoting core areas like in education, work, business, and health care issues.
Support one another in events like weddings, misfortunes of bereavement and other like occasions.
Meet periodically as will be determined by the committee and/or in case of bereavement. To establish and operate both in-state and out-of-stale AAA chapters for the unity of all liken minded Kamba's living in the United States of America.
